π Course Description
- This course aims to introduce B.Sc. Data Science and Engineering students to machine learning in healthcare, including the nature of clinical data, the overview of clinical care, and the use of machine learning for disease identification and diagnosis, smart electronic health records, personalized medicine, behavioural disease and classification, drug discovery, and epidemic outbreak prediction.
- Topics will include data set exploration, causality, interpretability methods, machine learning foundations, statistics, time-series analysis, deep learning, transfer learning...
- Hands-on and practical lessons will include an overview of technical concepts in the field. Starting from theory foundations, we will learn how to implement these technologies into real-estate scenarios. Finally, these sessions will be helpful to develop the final project of the subject.
